Ways To Give

In these tough economic times, we must invest in protecting our children. Yet Colorado’s funding to battle child abuse ranks among the lowest in the nation.

Please donate. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we rely on our donors – individuals, corporations and foundations.

More than half of our annual budget of approximately $600,000 is funded by foundations and grantors. The rest is funded by individual and corporate donors and special events.

Here are ways to contribute your financial support:

Monthly Pledges
Become a monthly pledge partner.

$100 per month funds advocacy for one child for one year.
$75 per month funds recruitment and screening of 10 prospective volunteers.
$50 per month funds training for two program staff members who supervise volunteers.
$25 per month funds training for one volunteer advocate.

In-kind Donations
Donate children’s items such as toys, books, school supplies and tickets to events suitable for children. Also consider household supplies such as phone cards, grocery certificates and shopping gift cards as well as office supplies such as paper and stamps.

Workplace and Community Giving
Many Colorado companies offer employee giving campaigns. Employees are able to donate a dollar amount per paycheck to the charity of their choice. CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties is a member of Caring Connection. Caring Connection supports CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties through paycheck deduction campaigns. Click on Caring Connection to find out if your employer has a workplace giving campaign.

CASA JeffCo/Gilpin is a donor option choice through Denver Employees Combined Campaign (DECC 0574), Caring Connection (1048), Colorado Combined Campaign (CCC 1881) and takes part in the local Combined Federal Campaign (CFC 45637).

If your company runs a United Way only campaign, you are able to write in CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties as a “donor choice” option on the pledge card. While we are not a United Way partner agency, they will direct the donation to us.

Please remember to write in the corresponding CASA code when making your selection.

When we work together, incremental giving creates monumental change.

We accept endowment donations and bequests. To make a charitable gift by will, please let us know so that we may ensure that your wishes are carried out.
