Protective Factors in the Experience of Trauma for Young Children

Protective Factors: What are they and how are they helpful for families? Six identified protective factors will be reviewed and the research basis for them. Information presented will also focus on how protective factors mitigate the long-term impact of trauma, build resilience and help work towards prevention of long-term impact of trauma.
